Lawyers join Law Society Children’s Panel and Law Society Advanced Family Panel

Two lawyers at Berkson Globe have recently been appointed to Law Society Panels.

Haley Farrell has been appointed to the Law Society’s Children’s Panel which allows her to directly represent children involved in child-care proceedings and family disputes. Haley joins Valerie Limont, Adele Schofield and Clare Lamb, partners at Berkson Globe, who are also on the Children’s Panel. In addition Matthew Rogan has been recently been appointed to the Law Society’s Advanced Family Panel. Advanced members of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme can provide advice and assistance to clients in particularly complex family law cases. In order to be appointed to these Panels, both have submitted themselves to a rigorous assessment to demonstrate the highest levels of knowledge, practical application of the law and best practice.

The Law Society operates accreditation schemes in order to promote high standards in legal service provision, ensure that consumers are easily able to identify legal practitioners with proven competency in given areas of law, help consumers to make informed choices, offer solicitors and firms use of a recognisable brand, provide information for courts, statutory bodies and other professionals and ensure that scheme members maintain relevant standards of competency and expertise.

Haley and Matthew both deal with all areas of family law, including private children cases, contact and residence, public law care proceedings, separation agreements, matrimonial finances and divorce.
