Clare joined the firm in 2001 shortly after qualifying as a solicitor. Initially Clare gained experience in all aspects of Family Law, including matrimonial cases involving divorce and the resolution of financial matters, domestic violence injunctions and contact and residence disputes regarding children.
Clare went on to develop an interest in representing parents and children in care proceedings and to further this interest became a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel. Clare now specialises in cases relating to children whether that be disputes between parents or cases involving the Local Authority or Adoptions.
Clare is a Partner in the firm and enjoys the challenge of developing a practice that strives to ensure a happy work place for its staff and deliver a professional and understanding service to our clients.
Clare considers that her biggest challenge came in 2010 when she became a mum. After 12 months maternity leave she returned to work in 2011, which leaves little time for hobbies but when Clare is not found visiting local beaches, parks and animal farms she enjoys cooking, listening to music and travel. Clare and her Husband hope to introduce their son to their passion for Italy very soon.
